Peacefully, at the Exeter Villa on Thursday, July 29, 2010 of Exeter in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Melvin (Bob) Edwards (1992). Dear mother of Leroy and Cheryl Edwards of Exeter. Dear grandmother of Tara and Rob Russell of Exeter and Amy and Brad Roth of Tavistock and great-grandmother of Kennedi and Carter. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Russell and Susie Heaman of Weyburn, Saskatchewan and Charles and Margot Heaman of Ancaster. Predeceased by her sister Verna Heaman and brother Lloyd Heaman. Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, 1 west of Main, Exeter on Sunday evening 7-9 PM where the complete funeral service will be held on Monday, August 2nd at 11 AM with Rev. Paul Ross officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery. Donations to the South Huron Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. Sorry to read of the loss of your mother. I always think of her and your dad, now they are together again. She was a great lady to put up with the antics of the north end boys.

I remember your mom. Leroy, when I was growing up at the north end and wanted t express my sympathy. She was such a kind and good neighbour to our Hogarth family. The aroma of cookies from her kitchen was always a treat!! I remember your family coming over to use our telephone and then always having a visit.
