At  Extendicare London, on Sunday July 28, 2002 Elsie (Gater) Baker formerly of Middlesex Centre in her 96th year. Beloved wife of Edwin (Ed) Baker. Dear mother of Barbara and Fred Carey of Simcoe, Thomas and Carol Baker of RR 3 Ilderton and Susan and Donald  Walters of St. Thomas. Also suvived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a sister Doris Lunn and brothers Harold and Robert Gater. Friends may call at C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Tuesday  3:30 to 4:30 and 7 to 9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 31st at 11 AM with Rev. Bill McAuslan officiating. Interment Medway Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
