Condolence from Melissa MacLean on March 24th, 2009 11:00 AM

To all the MacLean family: My deepest sympathies for the passing of your mother, now gone to the arms of her Lord and Saviour. I know that the three wisest women, Aunt Betty, Auntie Kate and Marian are busy chatting it up, on a cloud on high, keeping a close watch on us all.

Condolence from The Breakfasy Bunch on March 25th, 2009 11:00 AM

We were saddened to learn of Betty&&single&&s passing but at the same time happy for her in knowing that she is now with the Lord. Betty was a founding member of “The Breakfast Bunch” which is a group that meets almost daily at Terry&&single&&s in Seaforth, to have a social breakfast. That group has grown from the original few to an alumni of many who drop in regularly or irregularly as circumstances allow. Though we only saw Betty on an occasional basis since she moved to Lions Head, she was always welcomed with love and affection. Though the group as a whole isn&&single&&t a religious group, we will miss her simple faith in Jesus and her willingness to think good of other people. She always made an effort to understand even though she may have disagreed.

Our sympathies to her family both immediate and extended who we know will have many happy memories of their association with her.

Signed – The Breakfast Bunch

Condolence from Pat & Norma Cluff on March 25th, 2009 12:00 PM

Betty and her friend Dilys greeted us with open hearts when we first moved to Seaforth in 2003. We found a lady who adopted lost sheep such as ourselves being new to town and who had a heart of gold. Quite simply she loved everyone and accepted them regardless of any baggage they may have carried. She was a dear friend who will be missed. Our heartfelt sympathies to her loved ones and we wish her God speed.

Pat & Norma Cluff
