Elvey has always been a great man. Knowing Elvey growing up from my chilhood but losing touch into adulthood. Elvey, Deb, Nick, and Nathan have always been family, no matter how much we saw each other as our lives went into different directions with the years. I want you all to know that I have and am always thinking of you all and at this difficult time I want you all to know that I am here no matter what is needed. A chat, a thought I will be listening and praying. We will get through this, Elvey would want us all to be well.

My love is with you always, Katrina Dietz

Words cannot express the sorrow and grief that we share with you. At a time like this, one tends to reminisce and we have such wonderful memories of Elvey when he was growing up in Fullarton. Whenever we ran into Elvey we had many laughs when remembering old times and no matter how often he was in hospital, he had such a happy attitude. He was a very special person and I know he will be missed by all his family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and hope it brings comfort to you all to know that your friends care about you at this difficult time.

Deb and family.

I saw Elvey not so very long ago, in Stratford stopped at a light. I pulled up beside this big truck and glanced over and saw it was Elvey. He immediately rolled down his window and we had a quick chat. That is how I remember him, smiling and always ready to catch up. His positive disposition was infectious. It is truly sad that he is gone. He made the world a brighter place.

Sincerely,
Caroline

Dear Deb and family . ! Elvey will surely be missed and fondly remembered . I recall shortly after starting at woodcock brothers so many years ago , it seemed like every truck I would meet on the road would shout on the cb “where is Elvey” or “say hi to Elvey” . I thought to myself I&&single&&ve got to meet this Elvey fellow ! After he came off the road and joined us on the local fleet , I quickly learned what made him such a special and well liked man . Our sympathies and thoughts are with you all .
