I was sorry to hear of Eileen’s death. I taught with her in the late 60’s and 70’s when she was at Victoria Hospital. To the family and friends of Eileen:
I was priviledged to know Eileen for only the past two years and, sadly, we never had a chance to meet in person. But we were internet buddies and she was a wonderful, gracious and very considerate person in our ‘ping-pong’ correspondence about various matters of family genealogy. Eileen patiently explained several facts and relationships to me that made my task of assembling a large family history easier. And she even sent several old family photographs to enhance the project.
I am saddened by her loss, but grateful to have known her as I did.

Condolence from Elaine Keillor on April 21st, 2010 8:56 PM

Eileen was always so supportive of me, her youngest cousin, and I so appreciated her interest and assistance on many an occasion. I will be thinking of all the family members on Sunday afternoon at the Memorial Service, exactly at the same time as I will be giving a chamber music recital in Ottawa. I am certain she will remain with us all in spirit.

Lovingly,

Elaine

If ever there was a saint, Eileen was it! We shared common ancestors(Foster-Allen). several years ago Eileen welcomed my wife and I to her home, and drove us around to visit our families resting places. I want to extend my sympathy to her family.
