For that we say “thank you” and to you and yours we express our deepest sympathy at this time.

Condolence from Christopher Prowse on November 7th, 2010 8:37 AM

I have very fond memories from my childhood of spending time in Lucan with Eileen and Clarence upstairs at the main funeral home for holiday gatherings.

Eileen was always ‘aunt Eileen’ to me, even though she was really Mom’s aunt.

Eileen (and the entire Haskett family for that matter) always extended genuine warmth and caring to everyone she made contact with, and I’d like to think that made an impression during my childhood, of how to treat people around you.

My thoughts are with the Haskett family during this time.

So Sorry for your loss, It was a privilege to know your Mother and was glad that I had met her and was able to offer a little assistance to her .
She had some wonderful stories to tell and was a pleasure to deal with. Death ends a life but not a relationship, a quote from (Tuesdays with Morrie ) which I find helps me deal with a loss.
Take care of each other and remember the good times that you all had.

Condolence from Judith Parker on November 8th, 2010 12:04 PM

Bill, Sue and family:
On behalf of mom and dad and my family, our sympathy to you all. Our family’s paths seemed to cross last week while our moms were in the same hospital room and our new grandsons were born. I didn’t know Mrs. Haskett, but mom spoke of how she had such a lovely family when visiting at the hospital. This tells me that your mom must have been a special woman with a warm and caring heart. Our thoughts are with you.
