Unexpectantly, but peacefully, with his family by his side at Stratford General Hospital, on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 of Winthrop at the age of 67. Loving husband of Sandra (Webster) for over 38 years. Dear father of Dann and Stephanie Eedy of Dungannon and Jennifer and Lucas McIntosh of Thorndale. Proud grandfather of Owen, Chloe, Daniel, Lauryn, and Merryn. Dear brother of Sharon Eedy of London. Forever missed by his four-legged companion Ruff. Predeceased by his parents Cliff (1994) and Ruby (1990) and his brothers Wayne (1960) and Russell (2024).
Special thank you to the Seaforth Community Hospital Emergency Department, especially, Dr. Di Labio and Alicia Bennewies, Huron County Paramedics, and Dr. Mezetti and the critical care team at Stratford General Hospital for their care and compassion.
A celebration of life will be held at the Seaforth and District Community Centre, 122 Duke Street, on Sunday, May 26th from 2-5 PM with words of remembrance at 3 PM. Haskett Funeral Home, SEAFORTH entrusted with arrangements. A private family interment will take place at Medway Cemetery, Middlesex Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Egmondville United Church would be appreciated by the family.

Sandra and family. I was shocked to see Robert’s name in here. I was just talking to him at Christmas time in Crappy tire. He loved to talk and always had a Contagious smile. I remember a few years back just after Covid his doctor called and wanted to do one of his knees. He told his doctor to wait because he still had ploughing to do. A true farmer through and through.
