After a courageous battle with family at his side, it is with great sadness the family announces the death of Edward Joseph (Ed) Glavin, at his late residence, Huron Park, formerly of Biddulph Township on Monday, March 8, 2004 in his 61st year.  Dear son of Leona (McCann) Glavin and the late John G. Glavin (1978). Beloved father of Cathy and Paul Pavkeje, Tracy  and Derek Stockley, Julie and Wayne Urbshott and Chris Glavin. Dearly remembered by Jacqueline Glavin. Loving grandpa of Kristy, Trisha, Joe, Mike and Daniel Pavkeje, Paige Stockley and Kyle Urbshott. Dear brother of Tom, Mike and Betty, Jim and Nathalie, Gerry and June, Larry and Joanne, Mary Angela and Peter Rutten, Theresa and Bob Parsons, Jack and Deb, Joe and Pat, Eugene, Maureen and Morley Thompson, David, Dennis, Anne and Peter Roelands and Donna and Dan Masfrank. Also remembered by his many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by a sister-in-law Judy Glavin (1997) and niece Trisha (1975). Friends may call at the C. Haskett and Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Mount Carmel on Friday, March 12th at 11 AM with Father Callistus St. Louis officiating. Interment Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Edward Glavin grandchildren’s Trust Fund would be appreciated by the family.
