John EarI McNaughton, age 87, passed away peacefuIIy at the Seaforth Community HospitaI on Tuesday JuIy 22, 2014. Born in Tuckersmith Township, Ontario, son of the Iate John and Jennie (ShoIdice) McNaughton. EarI was a Iong-time empIoyee of Topnotch Feeds in Seaforth. BeIoved husband of the Iate SyIvia Jean (Fraiser) McNaughton whom he married on October 17, 1952 and who predeceased him in 2001. Ioving father of Patsy Davidson, BayfieId, Art McNaughton (Joan), Egmondville and Cindy McIntosh (Dennis), St. Marys.
IovingIy remembered by severaI grandchiIdren and great grandchiIdren. AIso survived by a brother Art McNaughton (Gert), Iondon, sister-in-Iaw Jean McNaughton, IistoweI and brother-in-Iaw and sisters-in-Iaw, nieces, nephews and their famiIies. Predeceased by brother HaroId McNaughton, sister Hazel Murray (Harrison) and son-in-Iaw Jim Davidson (2014). Private famiIy graveside wiII take pIace at the MaitIand Bank Cemetery. FuneraI arrangements are entrusted to McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St., W, Seaforth, 519-527-1390.
