Shaun was a Red Seal Millwright at The Andersons Hensall.
“Shaun was a quiet and simple man who loved and cared so deeply for the people in his life. Shaun was the kind of person who always put others before himself. Whether it was through hard work, quiet acts of love, or building memories for his family, he gave his all without hesitation. Always on the go — working, fixing, or creating — he poured his energy into the people and home he loved most. A true handyman, he brought warmth and character to the family home with his personal touches, from landscaping to building a playground from scratch.
His kids were his pride and joy. He wanted the world for them. He bought them all the fun toys like a three wheeler, golf cart and snowmobile to rip around the yard with. He dreamed to one day teach the kids how to fix them up.
His dedication to his work at Andersons was matched only by his devotion to his family. Providing for them wasn’t just a responsibility — it was his way of building the life he dreamed of for his wife and children.
Shaun made life better for those around him in a thousand quiet ways, and his presence will be deeply missed.”
Our hearts are deeply shocked and saddened at this tragic loss of a young life taken too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Dear Sabrina, children and all your family.
My heart breaks of your loss for all of you. Shaun was a wonderful person, always helpful and a wonderful neighbor. I have so many fond memories, and as I look across the street I will always remember Shaun beaming with pride of the fence, sign on the garage and the planters he built. Standing on the ladder asking if the number sign was straight…lol. Shaun was so handy.
When you became pregnant with your first son he was beaming with love for you. He was so proud and excited, eager to start your family.
The world has lost a true gem. He will forever be missed.

Doing electrical work at The Andersons we had the privilege of working for, and alongside Shaun for several years. Hearing of Shaun’s Death sent a shockwave through our workplace. Shaun was always upbeat, friendly and ready to share a laugh, he was dedicated to his work and an especially proud family man. Shaun loved to tell the story of how he delivered Kallie on the side of the road when she came into the world “fast and furious”. It hit me hard Monday to drive up to the shop in Hensall and see the work truck parked out front, but no Shaun. So long old friend, we will miss you. The people you work with become family too, it’s hard to lose a member of your work family. Deepest condolences to the family, from Jim Gaffney and the Staff and Families of Gaffney Electrical.

Words of sympathy feel inadequate in expressing grief and sorrow for a loss so great. We are sending our prayers and love to you all. Xo
Dear Sabrina and children,
So terribly sorry to hear of this. I had the good fortune of meeting Shaun when he was a newcomer to the area years ago. At that time he would come into Hayter’s retail store often and make his “bachelor” purchases of pepperettes and potato chips. Warm eyes, smile and spirit is how I think of him, I enjoyed our chats. Shaun visited the store once more about a month ago and caught me up on his wonderful, full family life. Of course his eyes were shining and smile was wide. Very sorry for your loss. Go In Peace. My deepest condolences to Shaun’s family and friends. It’s truly stunning when something happens like this out of the blue. But I’m comforted by all of the memories that my old buddy left me with. We’d drifted apart, it’s true, since high school, when he’d be at may house every day during lunch. But it was always a treat to see him again whenever our paths happened to cross in the years since. He was such an easy guy to get along with, always ready to make you laugh.
I’m sorry, Shaun, that the last time I saw you was so many years ago. And I’m sorry that I’ll never run into you again. But know that I’ll never forget you.
Sorry Sabrina for the passing of Shaun he was a loving father and husband. Sorry we are unable to attend our thoughts and prayers are with the whole family.
Sincere condolences to the entire Family of Shaun.
We are so sorry to hear this of devastating loss!
Rest peacefully Shaun .

Shaun was indeed a gem of a man. He was always gentle and charming and was the first to warmly welcome us at Matt and Monika’s Christmas celebration last year. Truly devoted to his family he will continue to live in in the hearts of all who loved him.
