Suddenly as the result of an accident on Friday, June 21, 2002, Douglas A.Heighway of RR #2 Ilderton in his 64th year. Beloved husband of Beryl (Nixon) Heighway. Dear father of Jim and Jennifer Heighway of Oakville, Joanne and Jim Kelly of Ilderton and David Heighway of Pemberton, B.C.. Dear grandfather of Kaelen and Spenser. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Marie and Chris Wilson of Gloucester. Predeceased by his parents Ella and A. Leslie Heighway. Friends may call at the C. Haskett and  Son Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 25th at 2 PM with Rev. Bill McAuslan officiating. Interment Granton Cemetery. Donations to Children’s Hospital of Western Ontario would be appreciated by the family. There will be a Legion Service in the funeral home on Monday evening at 6:30 PM with Ilderton Legion Branch #531.
