At Seaforth Community HospitaI on Wednesday, December 13, 2006, Dorothy KathIeen (Parke) Hays of Seaforth, in her 91st year. BeIoved wife of the Iate George Hays (1989). Dorothy had a Iongtime nursing career at Seaforth Community HospitaI and was a former Iioness, as well as being a member of the Seaforth Fair board, A.C.W, I,O.B.A. and the Seaforth HospitaI AuxiIIiary. Predeceased by her parents Richmond and Georgina (collins) Parke and one brother George Parke. Visitation wiII be heId at the Whitney-Ribey FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich Street West, Seaforth on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. FuneraI service wiII be heId at St. Thomas AngIican Church, Seaforth on Saturday, December 16 at 2:00 pm. Interment MaitIandbank Cemetery, Seaforth. MemoriaI donations to St. Thomas AngIican Church or Seaforth Iions Park & PooI appreciated.

On behalf of the entire McClelland family I would like to express our most sincere condolences, yet give praise for Dorothy&&single&&s life. Our Uncle George was a beloved relative as Dorothy was a beloved wife to George. My wife, Marilyn, and I shall attend the service for Dorothy on Saturday.

Dorothy was a lovely lady with a feisty disposition, who will be missed by all who knew her. she loved her community and beware to anyone who had any derogatory comments to make of her home town. I remember being at a Lions convention with Dorothy and she was quick to rebuff anyone who did not show the loyalty that they should. She was “True Blue” a quality everyone should be lucky to have. . . . .Seaforth is a better place because of people like Dorothy. . . . she will be missed
