DONNELLY: It is with deeply saddened hearts that the family of Kerry Patricia Donnelly, born and raised in Toronto and moved to Mississauga, announces her passing at Credit Valley Hospital, Mississauga, surrounded by love, on Saturday, August 13th, 2022 at the age of 75. Loving mother of her only beloved son Robert Deland. Cherished by her sisters Susan Mulvenna (Tom), and Lyn Webb (Murray). Dear Aunt to her nieces and nephews, Catherine Maxwell (Christopher), Glen Mulvenna, Kristy Dering (Koby), David Hume Jr. (Kathryn), Michael Webb (Deana), Stephen Webb (Laura) their wonderful children and special cousin Brian Donnelly. Treasured friend of Sherry and Ray Seelen and family. Forever loved and remembered by Charlie’s sons Brad (Holly), Chris and Doug (Rochell) and their families. Kerry was predeceased by her parents, Mary Emily (Scholes) Donnelly and Bruce Patrick Donnelly, her step-mother Betty, her adoring partner Charlie Asselstine and long-time best friend Mary Bruce. At Kerry’s request, cremation has taken place. To respect Kerry’s humble wishes no celebration of life will take place. If you wish to honour Kerry she would have appreciated a donation in her name to the Humane Society or a Women’s Shelter of your choice. Kerry was a teacher for many years with the Etobicoke District School Board. She had a passion for teaching and advocating for her students and fellow teachers. She was honoured many times as the past president for the Federation of Women Teachers Association of Ontario. Kerry was a gentle soul, kind hearted, one of a kind woman, that would do anything for those she knew and loved. She was blessed to have countless cherished friends too many to name here and her group of “Irises”. She was an animal lover and would help whenever she could. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood.

Kerry gave me my start back in the workforce thirty-five years ago. I was grateful for her confidence in me and her never ending support as I learned a new job. She was a wonderful, caring person. Rest in peace Kerry.

I am so sorry to hear this and my heart goes out to the family she was an amazing lady she was a good friend to me and Carol I’ll miss her if someone could let me know when the celebration of life is I would appreciate it we shared a very special friendship
