Condolence from Rev. & Mrs. L. Bruce Pocock on December 2nd, 2009 12:46 PM

Dear Edythe and family: Patricia and I have been away in Florida for the last couple of weeks, and so we were terribly shocked and saddened by Don’s death. Don was such a fine man, and our many talks and visits with him were such a joy. I always looked forward to seeing him around the community. Losing one so close and important in your life is a trial. It will be especially difficult as you celebrate the season of Christmas when the closeness of family is so important. I would suggest to you that you do not try to forget, but to embrace him in your festivities. He will never be far from you. His spirit, his joy of life, his presence there when you needed him, will always be there for you.
It has been my great joy to call Don a friend. I grieve for you all and for myself as I come to terms with his death.
Our greatest sympathy and condolences to you all. May God give you comfort in your grief.
Your servants in Christ
Bruce and Patricia Pocock
