Farewell Uncle Don aka Dangerous Dan as your kid brother (my dad) always called you. You were a true Scot: always a great story to tell, a pinch on the cheek for the wee ones, a warm, soft hug for the lassies, a hard chuck on the shoulder and an inquiry of “what are you getting away with today? for the lads. A gentleman&&single&&s heart, a scoundrel&&single&&s wink and a scholar&&single&&s mind were your stock & trade. You will be missed. Love from Monnie.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you for the repose of Dons soul. He was a good and faithful man to his GOD and family.
The MacRaes were good neighbors to our family at Bornish. HE taught school when I was in grade seven in the late 1940 s., then he was off to join the service.
We have a lot of fond memories of the MacRae family.. R.I.P DON.
