Laura, Mel and Wendy
I have so many memories of Don growing up. Mel and I riding to the cottage in that big old van for a pig roast or a winter weekend skating on the lake, Going out in the boat for a cruise or in the tinny fishing. Spent many a night with Mel at their place in Hensall where we may or may not have caused a few grey hairs! So many good times with the Dixon’s over the years.
He was one of the good ones and will be forever in our hearts. I’ll never forget Chris bringing Don a can of soup as a house warming gift in Exeter because Don liked his soup. Raising a glass tonight to good times, great memories, and one heck of a guy. Cheers Don!
My deepest sympathies to Laura and Don’s family.
He was such a sweet man and it was an honour to care for him.
Rest in peace Don
