Passed away peacefully at Jessica’s House, Exeter on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at the age of 87. Loving husband and best friend of Anne (Forrest) (2020) for over 61 years. Dear father and father-in-law of Angela and Brad Clausius of Zurich, Dan and Sherry Dittmer of London and Debra McNair of Shipka. Cherished grandpa of Randi and Dale Hilborn; Dana and Nanod Kojic; Michael Dittmer; Lance Pfaff, and Matt and Mallory Pfaff. Dear great-grandfather of Ethan and Amelia Hilborn; Celeste Dittmer; and Ayla, Emery, and Kayah Pfaff. Predeceased by his parents Fredrick and Clara Dittmer, and son Bradley.
Keeping with Charles wishes cremation has taken place and private family graveside will take place at a later date.
Donations to Jessica’s House would be appreciated by the family.
