DESJARDINE: Peacefully, at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, Friday, October 1, 2004, Wallace Louis “Wally” DesJardine, 91, of Grand Bend, recently of Chateau Gardens Nursing Home, Parkhill, Beloved husband of Elsie Pearl (Walters) DesJardine. Loved father of Wallace A. “Bud” DesJardine of Mississauga, Sharon and Ken Nancekivell of Waterloo. Loving grandpa of Christine DesJardine of Toronto, Nicole and Victor Catalano of Mississauga, Scott and Jane Nancekivell of Waterloo, Heather and Craig Young of Georgetown, Andrea and Craig Thistle of Waterloo and great-grandpa of Christian V. Catalano, Kelly and Nicholas Nancekivell, Alexandra and Mackenzie Young, Chelsey and Devon Thistle. Predeceased by his brother Ross Desjardine, sisters Marjorie DesJardine, Reatha Finan, parents Jules “Joe” and Emeline DesJardine. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood, with visitation Sunday afternoon 2 to 5 p.m.; where the Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 4, 2004, at 11 a.m. The Rev. Harry Disher officiating. Interment Grand Bend Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Grand Bend United Church or charity of choice would be appreciated.
