DESJARDINE: Peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family, at Jessica’s House Residential Hospice, Exeter, on Sunday, June 26, 2022, Phyllis Doreen (Desjardine) DesJardine, of Grand Bend, age 89. Beloved wife of the late Everett Warren DesJardine (1972). Loved mother and mother-in-law of Dianne and Stephen Kadlecik of Grand Bend, Michael and Jo-Dee DesJardine of Exeter. Cherished grandma of Bryce and Amanda Kadlecik of Bright’s Grove, Brittany Kadlecik of Grand Bend, Carissa DesJardine of Lucan and Jayden DesJardine and Madison Relouw of Exeter. Treasured great-grandma of Harlow, Nixon and Sawyer. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Darlene Schenk of Grand Bend, George Winegarden of Parkhill, Helen DesJardine of Grand Bend and Ollie Desjardine of Guelph. Remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Esther (Wilson) Desjardine, siblings and in-laws Eunice and Gord Smith, Inez Winegarden, Grace and Bob Dinney, Jack Schenk, Donna and Gordon Price, Emerson DesJardine, Leland and Ilene DesJardine, Lois DesJardine, Ethel DesJardine, Rugee and Hubert Restamayer, Glenford DesJardine, Eldred and Mary DesJardine, Melvin and Ardella DesJardine and Dorothy and Al Hendron. Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with Visitation on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 5 to 8 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 11 a.m. Pastor Frank Struth Officiant. Interment Grand Bend Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to Jessica’s House Residential Hospice, Exeter or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Mike and Jo-Dee: You are in our thoughts. Phyllis was always so quiet whenever I was around her but always pleasant and appreciative of anything that I did for her. May you cherish the memories you have of her.
Sending hugs to Dianne & family & Michael & family. I have very fond memories of Aunt Phyllis. She was soft spoken & always had a kind word to say about everyone. I will remember her as always dressing with the best style; her hair was thick & perfectly styled, her apparel was classy & beautiful. She was a wonderful kind lady & I will miss her.
Your Mom was such a good neighbour,
always ready to look after the boys when needed. That was many years ago. We enjoyed many cups of tea as well.

Dear Diane and all of the family of Phyllis,
We remember dear Phyllis from our days working at Sauble Court. Always smiling and so happy every day. I always looked forward to seeing her after I retired and getting caught up on the folks at Sauble Court and of course always a big hug. She was one of a kind and is resting gently at peace now.

Phyllis was a beautiful Christian woman that welcomed us to Grand Bend when we moved here. She and Darlene sent me many cards while I was going through my illness and they were very much appreciated. I will remember her always.
