DESJARDINE: Our Mom, Ilene (Hodgins) DesJardine, lived on this earth for 100 years. On May 16, 2021, she quietly slipped away to her heavenly home. She was the loving wife of Leeland DesJardine (2007). She was a precious mom to Glenda Waddell (Paul); Wendi Barber (Mark); Cindy Zarnick (Steve); Doug DesJardine (Sheila). Caring Nana and Gramma to Zack Waddell (Kirsten); Matthew Barber, Cassie Barber (Chris), Spencer Barber (Michelle); Brodie Truemner, Kendall Klassen (Jake); Rob DesJardine, Michelle DesJardine. She leaves behind several great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Ollie DesJardine, sister-in-law Phyllis DesJardine, nieces and nephews. Because the world has not healed, a private gathering will be held with her children. Our hearts are broken but our memories of her will sustain us. Arrangements entrusted to the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood.

I carry many fond memories of your mom and childhood visits at your family home were always special! The warmth of Aunt Ilene’s sparkling eyes will always be a memory that I am grateful for.
