DE MOOY: Abram (Abe) of Exeter

At South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Monday February 5, 2018 of Exeter, in his 91st year. Loving and devoted husband of Cornelia (Van Den Bosch) De Mooy for 66 years. Dear father of Didi and Albert Van Dyken of Dashwood; Maryke and George Straw of Rockwood; Abe and MaryAnne De Mooy of Peterborough; and Henry and April De Mooy of Alliston. Adored grandpa of Derek Van Dyken, Paul Van Dyken; Rachel and Derrick McIntyre, Kyle Straw, Brady and Meghan Straw; Megan DeMooy; Sara Guthrie, Carmel Guthrie and Mike Henson; Cameron De Mooy and Keely De Mooy. Great grandpa of Emma, Alannah, Leah McIntyre; Jonah Straw; Max Henson. Predeceased by a son Robert (1997). Abram had six brothers and two sisters, and he was the only one of his family to immigrate to Canada. 

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 370 William Street, (1 street west of Main) Exeter on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Exeter Christian Reformed Church, 330 Huron Street West, Exeter on Monday, February 12th at 11 AM with Pastor Kevin teBrake officiating. Interment Exeter Cemetery.

Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
