Peacefully surrounded by his family at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on June 13, 2022 of Kippen at the age of 92. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Walters) Dayman (2003) for over 50 years. Cherished father and father-in-law of Gary and Shelley Dayman, Shirley and Dennis Hodgert, Randy and Anne Dayman, Patty and Jim Knox, Tony and Alma Dayman, Laurie Dayman, Greg and Brenda Dayman, Jerry Dayman, Joanne and Garry Moir, Sherry and Jerry McCann, Joe Dayman and Judy, Michelle and Brian Schon, Darcy and Kate Dayman, Charlene and Mike Foxton, Shawn and Bev Dayman, Tammy Dayman, Amanda and Scott Wood. Loving grandfather of 41, great grandfather of 48, and great great grandfather of 1. Dear brother-in-law of Danny Walters (Joanne). Predeceased by parents Florence (Squire) and Joseph Dayman, daughter-in-law Bryn Dayman, grandson Derek, granddaughter Karalee, infant brother Harold Laverne, and sister Beatrice Colbourne (Keith).
A private family funeral will be held with interment at Exeter Cemetery. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

I have many great memories as a neighbour, schoolmate and friend, He was the first of our group to have a car – model A – a dog that would pull him (us too) on his sled – we used to tease the ram on the McKenzie farm and it would chase us from the barn to the woodshed on a specially iced pathway. He was the daredevil who ran around the beams and the roof
of the barn – no fear !!
