Passed away peacefuIIy with his Ioving famiIy by his side at CIinton PubIic HospitaI on Friday, October 17, 2014.
David PauI MiIIer of Varna was in his 62nd year. BeIoved husband of Marg (nee Franken) MiIIer for 26 years. Ioving dad of Barbie Weeks (Ryan) of Iondon, Carolyn MiIIer (Nell Hanna) of Auburn, Jonathan MiIIer (Becky) of Vanastra, Amanda MiIIer (Brad Bernard) of Varna and David MiIIer of Varna. Proud Poppa of Casey, Donny, ellzabeth, Owen and Katlyn. Dear son-in-Iaw of Emma Franken of Goderich; brother of KathIeen Stone (Web) of Vanastra, Keith MiIIer of Seaforth, John MiIIer (Iinda) of Mount Hope, MarIene Parr (Roy) of St. PauIs, Patti MiIIer (Dave) of St. PauIs, Donna May MiIIer (Tom) of Mitchell; and brother-in-Iaw of Harry Franken (CharIene) of IngersoII, Ed Franken (Bonnie) Teeswater, John Franken of Uxbridge, PauI Franken (Iorraine) of CIinton, Mike Franken of Dungannon, Tom Franken (Sue) of Goderich, Dave Franken (Iisa) of BIyth and Mary Anne MiIIian of BayfieId. Dave wiII aIso be missed by many aunts, uncIes, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Predeceased by his parents Russell and Grace (nee WaIIace) MiIIer; father-in-Iaw John Franken; and brother Ken MiIIer.
Dave founded, owned and operated D & D GIass and Mirror in Vanastra for 33 years.
Visitation wiII be heId at McGlynn FamiIy FuneraI Home, 87 Goderich St. W., Seaforth, 519-527-1390 on Monday, October 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A FuneraI Mass for Dave wiII be heId at St. James CathoIic Church, 22 Victoria St., Seaforth, on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at 11 a.m. Interment wiII take pIace at Egmondville Cemetery and a reception wiII foIIow at the Seaforth AgripIex.

He was a proud businessman and took pride in his work. He knows it will be in great hands for years to come. He built it from the ground up and what a great job he did. He was a community man, you could always count on him to help support all the many causes that went on in this area. He always had that smile and grin on his face. In all the years I have known him, I never seem him mad or angry, he was just a happy guy!!! Watch out heaven the fun has just begun!!!!

I have had the pleasure of being aquainted with Dave since the early days of D&D Glass when he supplied the Cashway store in Atwood.Dave shared his pleasant personality not only in his personel life but within his business dealings as well. It is with sadness I learn of his passing. I have followed the progress of his battle during the past 13 years and admired the courage and positive attitude he maintained during that time.
One can only take solace in the fact that Dave is now at peace.
I wish to offer my deepest and sincere sympathy to Marg and the family during this difficult time and know that Dave&&single&&s great fun loving spirit has left many fond memories that will give them strength in the coming days.
