Condolence from Margaret Jess on May 16th, 2016 11:26 AM

My deepest sympathy to the Currah family. Lee was a dear friend, fishing & hunting buddy and avid beagler with my late husband Bill. Our first beagle, Rascal, a.ka. Dukie came from Echo-Hill 14 years ago and with great sadness Dukie passed away May 8th. Lee kept in touch with me after Bill’s passing over the years just to make sure I was doing okay, which I appreciated very much. He also let me know how he and Shirley were doing and I was sad to hear of Shirley’s passing in March. Both Lee and Shirley will be deeply missed.

My heart goes out to the Currah family on the loss of a great man. A wonderful husband and father. I met Lea 40 years ago when my sister married into the family. I was so impressed with his work ethic. It never failed when ever I would visit the farm lea was always out doing something. He always had a handshake and friendly conversation for me. You will be sadly missed Lea.
