CRUMP: Sharon June (Scott) of Grand Bend, formerly of London

Peacefully at Jessica’s House, Exeter, with family by her side on Saturday, June 26, 2021, Sharon June Crump of Grand Bend, 3 days following her 78th birthday. Predeceased by just 13 short days by her beloved husband of over 59 years, John (“Jack”) Crump. Proud mother of Kim Crump and her partner Mary Rocheleau of London, and Vicki Neves and her husband Ian Neves of Lucan. Adored grandmother of Courtney Crump and Candice Neves and great-grandmother (“GG”) of Nolan. Dear sister of William (“Billy”) Scott and his wife Brenda Scott of Strathroy. Predeceased by her parents William (“Bill”) Scott and Blanche Scott of Scarborough. Also missed by her nieces and nephews.

A Kellogg’s retiree and an active member of several social groups, Sharon had a large circle of close friends who she enjoyed sharing her time with. All the parties and pig roasts at the lake, garage sale Saturdays, card games, vacations and jaunts to the casino will live on in the memories of those she held dear. She will also be remembered fondly by the gals at Red Hats, her exercise group (which we all knew meant coffee klatch), and the “ww ladies”.

Sharon touched the hearts of so many people, and will leave a void in the lives of all who loved her. Wife, mother, grandma, GG, sister, and good friend, Sharon loved unconditionally and without judgment, always believing in the potential of those she held so dear. She will always be remembered for her compassion and her heart of gold. Sharon would do anything for anyone, including being incredibly generous with her time and her spirit in the little time she had remaining.

Our family wishes to thank all of the staff and volunteers at Jessica’s House for their loving care and support for both Sharon and Jack during these past several weeks.

In keeping with Sharon’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Lucan (519-227-4211).

Donations to Jessica’s House would be appreciated by the family.
