We are so sorry to hear of the passing of your father, Jim. John and I had the pleasure of working with him at PDHS. Jim will be remembered as always having a huge smile on his face, and his good humored laugh. Wally enjoyed working with him for many years, especially when he first started teaching Women’s Mechanics/Automotive at Brant County Night School. Our whole family has nothing but wonderful memories of Cox’ BP, Al, and the entire family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time. We are so sadden to hear of both Jim and Kathy’s sudden passing’s. I had the pleasure of coaching with Jim with the Paris Girls’ hockey team. Kathy was his love and would join us at tournaments and games when she could. The photo chosen for Jim’s obituary is how we always saw Jim – with a brilliant smile and a happy and friendly disposition. I was devastated to hear the news about Jim’s passing, as well as Kathy’s. I had the pleasure of working with Jim for several years at Paris District High School and Jim was always such an incredibly positive and caring colleague who cared deeply for his students and fellow staff. Jim had a great personality, and his laughter could often be heard in a room full of people. We met through the squash club and Jim became a good friend. We then met Kathy and enjoyed both of their company over the years, and Doug had the privilege to be an usher in their wedding party. The loss of these two very special people, so suddenly saddens us deeply, as it would you. May it help to ease your pain to know that others care about your loss. We have many special memories of your parents, and will keep these in our heart.

My deepest condolences to the Cox Family for your profound loss . I had the privilege of meeting and getting to know Jim while teaching at PDHS . He was a “real” person who enjoyed/loved his family and always found the positive in everyone .His passing and the recent passing of his wife are truly unfair and tragic . I am so sorry to learn of Jim and Kathy’s passings recently. I had the pleasure of working with and sharing time with Jim at Brantford Minor Hockey Assoc for several years. He was always very positive, supportive, helpful, and wore a great smile. My condolences to all of his family.
