COUNSELL: James “Jim” of Exeter, formerly of Penetanguishene and Toronto

At his home, on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 of Exeter, formerly of Penetanguishene and Toronto, at the age of 85. Charming and devoted husband of Charlene (McCluskey) Counsell for 63 years. Champion father of Jeff, Kelly and Dan, and Greg and Sonya. Heroic grandpa of Jesse, Michael, Laura, Logan, Emily, and Kenny and great-grandpa of Sage, and Mordecai. Dear brother of Siri. Predeceased by father James Ronald Counsell, mother Minerva Robinette, and brother D’Arcy.

Jim lived a long and full life. He loved to travel, enjoyed scuba diving and even went sky diving when he was 80 years old. Jim made an indelible impression on everyone he crossed paths with.

Respecting Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Haskett Funeral Home, Exeter (519-235-1220).

Donations to Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.
