To Aunt Nora’s family:
Bill and I last saw our Aunt Nora at Uncle Porky’s funeral. We never thought for a minute she would be able to come. In our grief, at the right side of Porky’s memorial in walked Aunt Nora. It was like the Queen had just walked in, smiling at us all and surely grievened by the loss of her dear brother in law. She sat with her sisters,… comforted and contented, Bill and I left them alone. It gave us a real lift in our hearts to see the sisters hugging, smiling, loving and comforting one another (as most of them had already lost their better half.) I will always remember her that way. We want to commorate Mozark on his “Beautiful song” for Aunt Nora, surely that was an intervention by the Holy Spirit as was the whole Mass. Our darling Eulene Ryder mother and mother in law to Bill and I was a pillar of strength for both of us and we believe in our heart of hearts was a gift from the prayers of Nora Corriveau. God Bless you and rest in peace Aunt Nora.
Love Bill and Carol Ryder.

Condolence From: Patricia Colesberry (niece) and Joe Ryder -nephew)
All of the Bedard aunts are very special including our Aunt Nora. She cared about everyone especially her immediate family. She showed everyone a very rare human quality for loving everyone in your family and extended family, sisters, brothers, in-laws and nieces and nephews. She was a tremendous example of how to live a warm and loving family life. I will miss her smile, her giggles and her desire to know each of us; to share our lives together. I especially thank Aunt Nora for being a good friend and sister to my Mother. My mother will miss her terribly.

To Aunt Nora’s Family
I am so glad that my sister Barb and I had the chance to visit with Aunt Nora about a month ago. I had not seen her in a long time but she was the same friendly, gracious person I always remembered. She told us about her family and described each special event shown in the many pictures on the walls and table tops. We talked about the farm and M’mere Corriveau and her mother and father who had one of the first TV’s in the area. Barb and I would frequently go to the Bedard’s home to watch TV.
Aunt Nora was considerate of everyone and always looked for the positive in each person.
Your family is truly blessed to have her as part of your life.

To Aunt Nora’s Family,
As we journey through life we have the opportunity to encounter hundreds of people, and each one leaves indelible memories with us.
Once in a great while we have the good fortune to meet and associate with, a person who always causes us to feel loved and accepted whenever we are together.
Aunt Nora was such a person.
Always welcoming, always ready to give her best. I’ve never heard an unkind word from her or about her.
Aunt Nora was a GREAT WOMAN!
She leaves all of us a legacy of love! Let’s continue the example she left us with.

Condolence From: Mary-Anne Masse (Sister)
My dearest neices and nephews:
My deepest sympathy in the loss of such a wonderful human being which you were so fortunate to be able to call her your mom. I also feel a great loss. She was a very special sister to all of us. She had the greatest sense of humour and was dearly loved by all the people she encountered through the years. She was such a joy to be around. Many a times I would tell her that I would like to grow old and be exactly like her. She was so much like mom (meme) I pray so my cross my heart (Porky) will be there with open arms to greet her. The two of them had great admiration for each other. I am writing this note with a heavy heart so please forgive me for any mistakes. I love all of you and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Love always with hugs and kisses – Aunt Mary-Anne.

Condolence From: Debbie (Daughter of Porky and Mary-Anne Masse), Raymond and Makenna Chokelal

Dear Corriveau Family,
When I heard that Nora had passed, I felt so sad because I always liked being in her company. We played cards and visited. She was one of our friends from our old times. Moz and I got to know her and Lucien when Moz Jr. and Julie started dating.
I’m thinking of her and the family and will keep you all in my prayers.
Sincerely,
Marie Gelinas

Dear Corriveau Family, Your mom was a dear, sweet lady! I had a wonderful chance to visit with her Wednesday night from 7-8 pm when I was at the election polling station at the Resthome. She told me about the latest news of many of you by name, as we went through each of your pictures on her shelves and walls. She was so proud of all of you. We talked about her brothers and sisters, her parents, her children, grandchildren and greats, her aunts and neighbours. We talked about her wedding day, and Lucien. She was looking forward to attending the shower for Chantel which was going to be held on Sunday ~ that got us talking about delivering our babies and raising families! She looked great, but said she didn’t have a lot of pep. She had been saying her rosary when I got there, but was eager to visit. We laughed. We had a big hug before I left. Now she has a chance to visit in Heaven with so many people who were waiting for her there! Heather Sweeney Klopp

Condolence From: Renee (Sweeney) Letchford
My condolences go out to all of the Corriveau family, and in particular to Julie, Mozart, Aimee, Brian & Chantel. Growing up in Zurich with my Gelinas cousins I sometimes spent time at Nora’s home. I will remember her as the sweet, smiley lady who had such a cute laugh. She was always very kind and I know there will be a special place for her in heaven. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this time. xoxo Renee
