Condolence from Katlin & Greg Sumner on February 21st, 2024 3:21 PM

Aunt Mary, Sarah, Mark, Lindsay and families,

Our hearts ache for you all through this tremendous loss.

The immense sadness that is felt by all is proof of what an amazing Husband, Father, Grandpa, Uncle, Great Uncle, Brother, Brother-in law, Nephew, Cousin, Friend, Neighbour and Co-Worker he was to all. To know Craig, was to love him. His kind and gentle spirit was given to all who had the privilege of knowing him.

We will forever be thankful and grateful for his unconditional love and support through the loss of our Dad and the way he stepped in as a Grandpa figure. The relationship he shared with Everly and now Violet will be forever cherished and we will carry on the meaningful memories as our girls grow up. They will forever know what a vital role he had in their lives.

Craig was there when we needed him the most. He was like a father figure to me, always guiding or encouraging me with so much wisdom but also support and love. He beamed with pride for me and always was sure to say how happy and proud he was.  Especially in the past year with Fernhill. Craig along with Mary was excited and encouraged for the new venture of Fernhill. He worked so hard to make it a reality and for that I’ll forever be grateful. I’ll miss his almost daily visits on the confessional bench at the Church and him riding up on the golf cart. But I’ll never stop raving about what an amazing man he is and was to make Fernhill a reality and a beautiful spot that now so many people get to enjoy.

“Craig has gone to heaven and now he is with Grandpa! They will be so happy.” -Everly

So much love to you all
Love Katlin, Greg, Everly & Violet

Condolence from Chris Gysemans on February 21st, 2024 3:32 PM

Mary, Sarah, Mark, Lindsay and families. The loss of Craig will be felt deeply by all for a very long time. He loved each of you immensely.
May all our cherished happy memories of Craig provide everyone some solace and peace.
Craig leaves an unbelievable loss in our hearts and lives. Through my tears I remember amazing and hilarious times on our adventures. I often found Craig’s reaction in finding the hilarity with events funnier than the event. He was a gracious, wise and extremely kindhearted man. He became Everly & Violet’s grandfather figure. A role that he filled with great love, laughter & care. That love was returned twofold by those wee hearts. He was an exceptional man in every role he had and a loyal friend to everyone that crossed his path.
He will forever be in our hearts.
Love always Chris

Dear Mrs Corman and very large Corman family I’m very sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Mr. Corman but I do know multiple myeloma I’m a patient of 14 years and still going I do not know how long Mr Corman had it but I know it’s a tough way to go. I see he had a very big family family’s very important I think when it comes to a disease like this it makes you feel very alone at times. From the picture I saw of the family I don’t think you have to worry about family I don’t know how long Mr Corman lasted on the disease or how long of a fight he put up like that I said I’ve been fighting it for 14 years now and it’s a very scary place it’s one of those diseases that gives you more time than other cancers but you suffer twice as much and you never know what’s going to happen in and out of the hospital and I just thought I’d say I’m sorry for your loss
