We met each other in either 1963 or 64 at St. John’s Abbey and we reconnected in 1965 in Toronto. We were always good friends. I was very happy when she adopted you and to see how your relationship blossomed. As Scripture says, “She may now rest from her labours for her good works follow her.” With much love, Ken.

Dear Anne, I am the lawyer who did the paperwork for your adoption. I remember the day very well when I told your mother that the adoption had gone through court and you were now her daughter. She had me repeat over and over the congratulations that the judge sent her as she wanted to memorize every word. She was one very happy woman. I send you my condolences on her passing. Anne, your mom was a very important person in my life as my therapist in the 70’s. She had great depth and wisdom. You may not recall but I babysat you for a few times. My deepest condolences go out to you and your family.
