Our thoughts and prayers on the passing of your Dad(“Poppy” & Great Grandfather). How very touching and appropriate were the words, scriptures, poem and eulogies given at St.Andrews United Church, Kippen in honour of Uncle John. Although his physical body will never again sit in his old pew, I know you will feel his spirit with you in ALL you do. I’m sure he has already had tea with Aunt Grace, Aunt Bea, Uncle Morley, Mum, Uncle Dunc, Aunt Olive, Aunt Deenie and Lloyd, as well as Uncle Bob, Aunt Florence, Dad, Aunt Corrine, Uncle Grant, Uncle Stew, Gerry, Marjorie, Grandpa Cooper & Grandma. They’ll have probably ALL played 4 hours of non stop EUCHRE and Uncle John will have won EVERY game!!! (or be angry at himself if he didn’t!) Can’t you just hear the old tunes and organ music and McGregor bagpipes? KIPPEN has lost an intelligent and witty #1 citizen. HEAVEN has gained a very worthy angel. He deserves his rest in the`arms of Jesus and his Lord. We’ll miss you Uncle John. Love Sharon & family (Cari-Lynne,Michael,Aneta,Marcus,Kasia & Daniel)

So sorry to hear of your loss. John was a remarkable man. We enjoyed lawn bowling with him for many years here in Exeter. He truly enjoyed the game.
