Dawn and Coombs family, we were shocked to hear of Chance passing away. Chance worked for many years with us at Standard in Mitchell. She was such a strong person, she was passionate about equal rights which we had to fight for back years ago. We used listen to Bob Marley to get through a shift. You will really miss her Dawn. A big loss to Seaforth. A big loss to the Coombs family (Clendon ). Although we were sometimes a pain Chance we really looked up to you in our younger years. Many fun times spent at the Coombs home playing euchre. Later in life Chance was enrolled in the same program as my son Andre Law and Security. Chance I know these last few months were your personal torture. I believe many people were genuinely thinking and praying for your best health, but the big C got another great one. Very sorry.. Chance was one of my favourite people and always cared about everyone around her especially my grandma Sharon. She was a light and I will forever miss her company and laugh. Condolences to Dawn and the family, I am so sorry for your loss… the world will forever be a different place without Chance in it but her huge heart and pure kindess will never be forgotten. ❤️ She made alot of days really special by just being her.

Chance was a very talented member of the Heritage Committee of Huron East and there are several projects she did in down town Seaforth. As chair of the Heritage I for one will miss her very knowledgeable expertise when considering projects. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.
