Condolence from Kim Bidwell on November 3rd, 2023 4:53 PM

This is an extremely delayed message. I was searching for someone else and came across Janet’s obituary.

I was the Program Co-Ordinator at the Ingersoll Senior Centre, where I first met Janet. Janet was so enthusiastic about the Centre and all its programs and the importance of our Centre for our Community.

She was a member of our Members Council, played an integral role in establishing the Centre “Bell’s and Bows Bazaar, painted our ‘One” room, re-covering chairs, cooking meals, planning and being a participant in our Annual Christmas Floats. She was enthusiastic about moving to our new and larger location to expand our growth. She was a constant in so many programs and Special Events.

We were sorry to see her move to Ilderton, but she hosted our Walking Club there and members were envious of her new apartment and what it offered, as Ingersoll lacked anything like that.

Janet was always kind, gracious and diplomatic in all matters. I have since retired from the Centre, but when I think of my years there, special members always come to mind and Janet was always one of my favorites.

My sincere condolences, and hope you celebrate all her wonderful memories.
Kim Bidwell
