Condolences for the family of “CLAUSIUS: Wayne Donald”

Condolence from Jim Seale on February 20th, 2024 10:04 AM

I met Wayne late in his life, but I was amazed by the sheer effort that he was able to put into the volunteer tax program, assisting those who needed the help. He would be the first to say that “it was a team effort” and that he “had a great team of volunteers”, because sharing successes is something that effective leaders do. He will be missed, both as a force of nature when it came to ensuring that his clients received the best level of service, but also as a kind and effective colleague.

Craig,Jacquline, Mark, Laura and family.
Sending my deepest sympathy. Wayne was a very kind and gentle man, a true gentleman. I got to know Wayne very well through the community volunteer income tax program over the past 6 years. He certainly was a book of knowledge that he shared with all of his team. We wouldn’t be the volunteers we are today without his patience and support. He was always a phone call away and always made time to discuss the problems I would be having. He was also involved in so many worthwhile community organizations and will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Rest in Peace Wayne,

Sally Desjardine

My deepest condolences to Wayne’s family. I met Wayne about 6 years ago through the Community Volunteer Tax Program and was enlisted as one of his Volunteers, Wayne was so dedicated to helping the clients who most needed the help and guidance.
Whenever there was a question or problem Wayne knew what to do and did it. To say he left big shoes to be filled is an understatement. As we prepare for this years Tax Season we will struggle without his wisdom and guidance but thank goodness we have information that he shared with us and when I have a question I will think “what would Wayne do”
As the family mourns the loss, please know that we all share in your sorrow. Cherish your wonderful memories.
Thank you Wayne, my mentor, my friend…I will miss you.

Condolence from Marg Deichert on February 23rd, 2024 6:50 PM

Marc & Craig & Families and the Clausius Family,
Sending hugs and prayers on the loss of Wayne.
He did an amazing amount of good work with the income tax program – growing it from a couple of communitites to all of Huron County and into the surrounding areas. His shoes will be difficult to fill in this important work.
Sure glad I had a chance to visit with Wayne at Jessica’s House a few weeks back. We had a great chat.
Take care,
Marg Deichert
