CLARKE: Margaret “Marg” (Boa) of Hensall

Passed away peacefully at Queensway Nursing Home, Hensall on December 10, 2020 at the age of 76. Beloved wife of Ken Clarke for 53 years. Cherished mother of Jeff Clarke and Leah Bellemare of Edmonton, and Jason and Julie Clarke of Hensall. Adored Nana of Austin, Jordan, and Cody. Sister and sister-in-law of Eleanor and Gary Beaver, Ivan and the late Barb Boa, Donny and Edna Clarke, Ruth and Rick Webster, and Barry and Valerie Clarke. Marg will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents George and Fredo (Harburn) Boa.
Marg passed Thursday evening after suffering a stroke. She was kept comfortable at Queensway Nursing Home surrounded by the love of her family and the staff. Her struggle has ended, her spirit is free. She will be remembered for her mentorship and caring personality.
Keeping with Marg’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private family funeral service was held at Haskett Funeral Home, Exeter on Wednesday, December 16th at 2PM. Interment will take place at Staffa Cemetery on May 15, 2021 at 11 am.
Donations to Queensway Nursing Home – Bridge to Dreams Program, cheques made payable to “Queensway Residents Council” would be appreciated by the family.
