Condolence from Donna Arts on August 7th, 2013 11:00 AM

My sympathies to the Perkins family. My father was Watson Reid. He only spent a few months at the Manor but during that time he enjoyed Charlie&&single&&s company and they had quite a few card games together.
Charlie will indeed be missed.

Dear Family: My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this sad time. My mother, Barb Rivers used to live in the Victoria St. apartments when Charlie did.

May your memories keep your hearts happy. Charlie and Pegi were great neighbours to my mom Rika Van Bakel when they lived at the apt on victoria.my husband remembers charlie coming to the farm for wheat to make his crafts. Great folks.

Condolence from Helen Southgate Oldfield on August 9th, 2013 10:00 PM

Charles was “one of a kind” gentleman and he will be fondly remembered by me always for his warm smile, the twinkle in his eye and his good humour. He and Pegi were parishioners at St. Thomas&&single&& Anglican Church when they moved to this area and for as long as they were able to come out and I had the pleasure of getting to know them. My mother in law Elsie Southgate who recently passed away at age 91 was a friend of Pegi&&single&&s and they served together on our church chancel guild. Charles was a devoted husband and gentle spirit and was loved & respected by those in our congregation who got to know him. Our condolences to the whole family on the loss of a special man.
Sincerely, Helen Southgate Oldfield & Brian Oldfield
