Condolence from Dale & Linda Froats on January 28th, 2021 3:03 PM

Cheryl, Ken, Jim and families, Was looking forward to our pop-in visits again with Bill when covid was done. Stories of ballgames were shared and he enjoyed showing us what he was puttering around doing in his workshop. Bill always seemed content when we visited from the doorway this past year but it had to be lonely with his beloved Ruth gone and not being able to go to his favourite restaurant for an outing. They are together now and we send our condolences to you; they were so proud of their family and you were so loved.

Dear Cheryl, Ken, Jim and families,
May peace, love and hope be yours today and everyday in this sad time. Your dad, Bill, was a big part of all our family get togethers and we shall all miss him. He had a unique sense of humor and shared it willingly. I remember well his passion for playing games especially Euchre, and his desire to always be on the winning team. He was avid about the game of baseball too, and was always a valued team member. Your dad, Bill, and your mom, Ruth, were a great team and will always be in our hearts. We send prayers and God’s richest blessings to you along with our love.

Condolence from Tom and Judy Bestard on January 29th, 2021 2:56 PM

We were sorry to hear about the passing of my uncle Bill. Although we have not seen him for a while, we were wondering recently how he was doing in this shutdown situation.
I remember the Christmas parties at grandma Butlers when I was very much younger. Uncle Bill and Uncle Tom really made the day special for me as a kid. Uncle Bill always got as excited showing me how new toys worked at Christmas, and seemed to be having as much as I was. He taught me to be curious about how things worked, even showed me how to take things apart so that understanding how it actually worked was possible. This curiosity served me well throughout my career in the engineering field. I still think of Uncle Bill often as a result.
Judy and I send our condolences to the family and hope to see you later when this shutdown is lifted.
