Today I got a picture developed of Mary with the MDHS girls that gathered in Stratford this past August. In this picture, she looks so good and just the way I want to remember her. She had a bubbly personality and we all enjoyed being in her company. My sympathy to all her family.

So very saddened that Mary will no longer be one of my dear earthly friends….she had such a wonderful personality enabling her to befriend everyone she met…..I will truly truly miss seeing her smile and friendly greeting. I have another Angel looking out for me, as well as all others that knew her. Rest Peacefully my friend… till we meet again.

Mary’s laugh was infectious. What a tragic loss, losing your mother is never easy. Just remember the good times and there were plenty of them on Pryde Blvd and Kingscourt Cres. She was a cheerleader in High School, however; she keep that tradition going for all us kids in the neighbourhood. Many many many practice laps in your swimming pool for the Exeter Swim Team years ago among countless other activities, gatherings and sports. We were so lucky to grow up next door living beside Mary. She was always so kind, warm and welcoming to our family. We loved swimming in their pool growing up and have now enjoyed watching our own kids swim in their pool too. What can we say about our longtime neighbour and great friend Mary. It was a pleasure living next to her for 35 years and we can hardly believe she has left our world. Mary was a joy to be around and always found the positive in life. We are so grateful for all the memories and good times we shared throughout the years. I remember being stranded in Exeter coming home from London hospital in a blizzard and Mary thought nothing of letting another couple join us to come to their house and stay. We barely knew the other couple except for knowing they owned the M n M store in our town. they felt awkward joining us but Mary had them feel comfortable in no time with her welcoming smile. Hugs.

We are so saddened to hear of Mary’s passing. She was a wonderful wife, and grandma and step mom too…And what a great mom she was to such beautiful daughters. My first babysitting job was with two adorable twins and later a third beautiful little girl but Mary always made me feel like everything would be fine and I could do it.
