Passed away peacefully at Seaforth Long-Term Care on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Edward Burt for 44 years. Cherished mother of Karen Buuck, the late Keven Buuck, and the late Randy Buuck, and Brenda Lacroix. Dear grandma of James LaCroix, Allisha Buuck, Keven Jr Buuck, Kristen Warke, and Cameron Buuck; Great grandma of Justice Buuck, Jadence Buuck, Victoria Lacroix, and Elise Lacroix. Predeceased by her parents, James and Dorothy Doig and her sister, Elizabeth McCall (Alex McCall).
In keeping with Catherine’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family interment will be held at a later date.
Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Sorry to hear of Catherine passing, she was a wonderful lady whom I had known all my life, we farmed just down the road from each other in Tuckersmith township.. she will truly be missed and loved by many… Bob and Wendy Patrick

Sorry for your loss and wishing you peace at this difficult time.
Very sorry for your loss of Mom and Grandmom. Catherine was a very strong loyal friend and cousin. Catherine loved her farm and gardening. Catherine was a hard worker and most would have a hard time keeping up to her work ethics. Her giggles and harsh words went hand in hand. Catherine will be missed. R.I.P. Catherine sending hugs to Ed Burt and her children Karen and family Brenda and Jim LaCroix and their son Jim. Randy her son predeceased her and her son Kevin also predeceased her.. Oh the memories…

So sorry to hear of Cathy’s passing. Absolutely loved having Cathy and Ed as neighbours in Bayfield as she could tell me stories about my mom since they were neighbours on the farm. Cathy was quick to offer a helping hand with their little backhoe.

Dear Ed and Cathy’s family, sending sincere sympathy at this sad and difficult time. I enjoyed our chats on the patio at the manor when my dad was a resident there. She will be missed.
