BURKE: Peacefully, at AgeCare, Parkhill, on Monday, February 17, 2025, M. Joyce (Sutton) Burke, of Grand Cove Estates, Grand Bend and formerly of London, age 89. Beloved wife of over 74 years to William “Bill” Wesley Burke of Grand Bend. Loved mother of Ricky Burke and the late Danny Burke (1987). Dear sister and sister in-law of Sylvia Brown, Alice Braithwaite and Dorothy & Dave Dixon. Predeceased by her parents Charles Raymond & Winnifred (Groom) Sutton. Joyce will be remembered by her many nieces, nephews and their families. At Joyce’s request cremation will take place. A family graveside service and interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery London at a later date. Joyce was a long time employee at Simpsons and The Bay in London. She was active in the Huron Country Playhouse Guild, The Probus and Red Hat Society. The family wish to thank the staff and care givers at AgeCare in Parkhill for their kindness and support for over the past year. If desired Memorial Donations (Payable Direct) to Cancer Society or Charity of your choice would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood.

I am very sorry to hear of Joyce’s passing. Always enjoyed going to the Burke’s picnic and interacting with Joyce. Such a nice lady. Thinking of you during this very sad time. My sincere Condolences to you Bill and family.
So sorry to read of the passing of Joyce. We Will think of her often when we were with the gang and the good times. Gerry and Pat Kading
Dear Bill, we were so sorry to hear of Joyce’s passing. We often so admired the deep and everlasting love you had for each other.. That kind of love is so hard to find. She will live on in all our memories.
