Passed away peacefully at Jessica’s House, Exeter on Friday, September 26, 2025 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Jack Brintnell (2002). Cherished mom of Shirley and the late Don Kerslake, and Marilyn and Rick Vandenbussche. Proud grandma of Elizabeth and Jeff Patterson, Mike and Cassandra Kerslake, Dave and Stephanie Vandenbussche, and Steve and Jaclyn Vandenbussche and great-grandma of Hayden, Ethan, and Aveleigh Kerslake; Carson, and Wesley Vandenbussche; Brodie, the late Bentley, Levi, Henry Vandenbussche. Dear sister-in-law of Dorothy Taylor, and Marilyn Taylor. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Richard and Pearl (Mousseau) Taylor, parents-in-law William and Vera Brintnell, and brothers; John, Alvin, and Melvin Taylor.
Mary enjoyed spending time at the trailer at the Old Homestead with family and friends. She volunteered her time and care to crocheting hundreds of jiffy towels for the Hospital Auxiliary gift shop. Mary will be remembered by the smell of her delicious apple pie or a fresh batch of cookies as you entered her home for a visit. Above all, she cherished her time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Haskett Funeral Home, 456 Main Street South, EXETER on Saturday, October 4th from 10 – 11 AM, where words of remembrance will be shared at 11 AM. A celebration of Mary’s life will follow. Interment McTaggart Cemetery.

Mary also played shuffleboard with us at the Legion, also having good times there as well. Mary lived a good life. We will always remember Mary. Rest in peace my dear friend.
