Brian Jones

Peacefully at South Huron Hospital, Exeter on Thursday, April 15, 2010 of Exeter in his 60th year. Beloved husband of Wendy (Dabner) Jones. Dear son of Vi Jones of Exeter and the late William Jones (2005). Son-in-law of Pat Dabner of Burlington. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Howard and Louise of Exeter, Sharon and Greg of Granton, Mike and Katie and Tony all of Burlington and Lynn and Paul of Canfield. Brian will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son Rob Jones (2002).

There will be a memorial service on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at the Exeter Lion’s Youth Centre, 125 John St. W., Exeter at 11AM with Pastor Paul Vollick officiating. Cremation with interment Hensall Union Cemetery.

Donations to the Exeter Lion’s Club or the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

The community has lost yet another great volunteer and friend. Brian was truly loyal to the Exeter Lions Youth Center and his dedication to the Exeter Lions Club will be missed. He was a man who “made a difference” and his presence will be missed but his spirit will not be forgotten. Our condolences to Wendy and the rest of the family including the Lions Club of Exeter.

Please accept our deepest sympathy. Try to find comfort in knowing that Brian will be missed by so many in the community.
I have known Brian only a short time while being such a great addition to the Exeter Lions Club. I am proud to call him a fellow Lion and honoured to call him a Friend.
We can all learn from his unselfish willingness to volunteer in efforts to make our community a better place to live.
