BOWERS: Peacefully, at Huronview Home for the Aged, Clinton on Friday, May 26, 2023, Lorraine (Pfaff) Bowers, formerly of Crediton, age 87. Beloved wife of Frederick “Fred” George Bowers of Crediton. Loved mother and mother-in-law of Randy and Julie Bowers of Dashwood, Robert Bowers of Crediton, the late infant Roger Bowers (1972), Linda and the late Jim Finkbeiner (2017) of Exeter, the late Rick Bowers (1979), Ron and Louise Bowers of Ipperwash, Cathy and Gary Skinner of Exeter, Pat Pfaff (Marilyn) of Crediton, Marilyn and the late Ken McLeod (2014) of Strathroy and remembered by her daughters-in-law Heather and Bill Montgomery of London and Rosemary Bowers of Amherstberg. Cherished grandma of Emily (Nico), Lucas (Morgan), Maggie, Robb, Russ (Marie), Colin (Jenn), Laura (Emmanuel), Cheryl (Brian), Kelly (Grant), Erin, Dan, Jennifer, Ben, Craig (Melissa), Scott (Julie), Jacquelyn, the late Alandrea (2021), Lesley (Ray) and Cody. Treasured great-grandma of 29 great-grandchildren. Dear sister and sister-in-law of Wally Pfaff and Dorothy Pfaff both of Exeter. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Henry Christian (1974) and Thalma (Witzel) Pfaff (1962), brothers Harvey Pfaff (1994), Allen (1994) and Doris Pfaff (2010), Emery (1995) and Phyllis Pfaff (2017), Bill Pfaff (2003), Bob (1995) and Grace Pfaff (2002), Wilmer (2008) and Martha Pfaff (2003), sister-in-law Dorothy Pfaff (1990) and brother-in-law Major William (2019) and Major Joan Bowers (2001). Resting at the T. Harry Hoffman & Sons Funeral Home, Dashwood with visitation on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 from 4 to 8 p.m., where the Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Sandra Cable Officiant. Interment Crediton Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations (payable directly) to the Alzheimer Society; Zion United Church – Crediton or a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
