BORG: Wally Emanuel of Seaforth, formerly of Bayfield

With heavy hearts, we announce Wally’s sudden passing at home on Friday, February 20, 2026 at the age of 78. Beloved husband of Sharon (Bolton) Borg for 53 years. Cherished father of Jason (Leigh-Anne) Borg, Justin (Angela) Borg, and Krystal Borg. Adored grandfather of Haley, Jaxen, Mia, and Katie, and a proud “fur-grandpa” to Nero, Jemha, Gabby and many others. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Carmen Xuereb, Doris Borg, David and Irene Borg, John and Connie Borg, Cetta Borg, Raphael and Marina Borg, Raymond and Bonnie Bolton, Roy and Peggy Bolton, Sandy and Dave Kelly, Lori Bolton, and Trish Bolton. Fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, and the extended Bolton family and Borg family in Malta. Predeceased by his brother Mario Borg, brother-in-law John Xuereb, Rick Bolton, and Ross Bolton, his parents John and Polly (Borg) Borg, and parents-in-law Robert and Margaret (Holtzhauer) Bolton.

Wally was born in Senglea, Malta, and came to Canada at the age of 16, carrying with him a deep love for his homeland and its traditions. Though he built his life in Canada, Malta always held a special place in his heart. Above all else, Wally treasured his family, who meant everything to him. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends both in Canada and in Malta.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Wally’s life will be held at a later date. Please check back for service details.

Donations to a charity to support animals in your area, or to your local foodbank in Wally’s memory would be appreciated by the family.
