I was saddened to hear about the passing of dear Zoe. After teaching hundreds of students over the years, there are some who you remember and others who unfortunately you forget. Zoe is one who I always remember. She was a sweet girl who was a pleasure to have in my class. She is someone who would have made a wonderful contribution to this world.

For a father,,, a daughter is often the apple of his eye, his princess. And the love we feel for our daughters is intense and everlasting. I don’t have the right words to express how sorry I am for the loss of your daughter Zoe. You are experiencing a level of pain and grief that not many people do, and others cannot imagine. I don’t know what to say other then I am so sorry. I met Zoe in my first year of University when we were in the same discussion group. It wasn’t until second year when we became very close as we were accepted into the same program. We had nearly every class together and she would often save me a seat when i was running late. She was always very helpful and always made sure that i was doing alright. We worked on many assignments together. i’m going to miss her so much.
My thoughts are with her family during this difficult time.

I met Zoe back in my first year of university. She was such a beacon of light. She was always positive and never once spoke badly about someone. From my experience, she was fiercely kind, sweet, and had such a fun sense of humour. She was so warm and friendly and one of the kindest people I ever met.
