Norma brought so much affirmation and encouragement to all she met. She was a delight to me as I read to the seniors at the Day Centre. Her mind stayed alert to the end. Even though it was two to four weeks between readings, she remembered where we had left off and was anxious to hear the next installment. I will miss her greatly, but I’m sure you as her family will miss her more. Our prayers will be with you.

Those we love don’t go away,

Unseen, Unheard, but always near,

We both have many fond memories of years back when your Gramma Hazel and Wes’s Mom would bring the Bice and Watson families together. It has been a joy to to be with your Mom at Craigwiel these past few months; she spoke of all of you with such love and pride. We will remember her as a woman who lived her faith and gave of herself in our community to bring quality to the education system for all children. Our thoughts are with you as you say goodbye and celebrate the life of a truly lovely lady.

Norma was a women with so much knowledge and she loved to talk about her family grandchildren and most of all those twins in Vancouver. She was such a delight to visit, each week I came home energizes each time I visited. I just loved her. I was sadden with her loss. MY prayers are with you all.

We were sorry to hear of Norma’s passing. When I drove for V.O.N. we went a lot of miles together. She was a very gracious and caring lady and we will all miss her.
