Bernel (Bernie) L. Hodgins

Peacefully, at his residence on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 of RR 2 Denfield in his 77th year.  Cherished husband of Blanche (McIntyre) Hodgins.  Dear son and son-in-law of the late Amos and Eleanor (Ryan) Hodgins and the late Duncan and Blanche McIntyre.  Sadly missed by Patti Walsh and Ike Henry and family.  Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. 

Friends may call at the Haskett Funeral Home, 223 Main Street, Lucan on Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  The funeral service will be held at St. George’s Anglican Church, 12656 Thirteen Mile Road, Denfield (west of the Denfield Road) on Friday, October 7th at 11 AM with The Rev. Father Daniel Bowyer officiating.  Interment St. George’s Cemetery, Middlesex Centre. 

Donations to the St. George’s Anglican Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

You are going to sadly be missed by us all. From everything to your little smirk to all the “discussions” we would have to have to persuade you to be part of for the kids things! I know you really wanted to be, just wanted to make it a point of having the last word!! We will look after grandma for you, don’t you worry about that! Thank you for all the memories you have been part of, with me as well as my kids. They will forever be better kids for all you have taught them. Love you, and lucky to have you watching over us.
