Margret Anne (Prance) Beaver, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, February 16, 2026, with her family by her side after a long and courageous battle with Alpha lung and liver disease.
Marg shared a deep and lasting love with her husband, Ross. They were married on November 4, 1967, at Elimville United Church. After spending two years in Exeter, they moved to the Beaver family farm, where they built a life together and spent the remainder of their married years. The farm was Marg’s heart — she loved nothing more than being there, surrounded by her family.
Together, Marg and Ross raised their two children, Cindy and Darryl. In 1995, they welcomed their first grandson, Brandon Michael Beaver, born to Darryl and Shelly. In 2002, their second grandson, Justin Andrew Pym, was born to Cindy and Dennis Pym.
Marg leaves behind her loving daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Dennis Pym; her son, Darryl Beaver (Lindsay); her grandchildren, Brandon and Vanessa Beaver, and Justin Pym; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Leo, Lennie, and Scottie. Being a grandmother and great-grandmother was Marg’s greatest joy. She would light up at any mention of them and treasured every moment spent together. She is also lovingly remembered by her brother- and sisters-in-law, Wayne and Fran Prance, and Cathy Prance. Marg is now reunited in heaven with her parents, Gord and Doreen Prance; her sister, Mary; her brothers, Gerald and Dave; and her brother-in-law, Bob.
Marg will be remembered for her kindness, quiet strength, and the deep love she shared with her family. She leaves behind a legacy of thoughtful care, gentle humour, and the many small moments that made life with her so special. Her warmth and the love she gave so naturally will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Rest easy our sweet angel, you will live in our memories forever.
Marg’s family will gather at the Exeter Cemetery at a later date for a small, intimate ceremony to honour and celebrate Marg’s life.

Ross and Family, 35 years ago I was wishing the perfect person would say to me “can I babysit your baby when you go back to work”, and she did, I ran into Marg in Greeting Card World and she said she was bored now that she had retired and was thinking of babysitting.
