Barb was a wonderful lady. My sympathy to her entire family.

Thinking of Barb&&single&&s family and friends. I&&single&&m thankful to have gotten to know Barb better over the last few years. She was a kind and sincere person with an admirable curiosity for learning new things. I will miss our email conversations and visits very much.

Barb and I go way back to when she was a young teacher at SS4 Tuckersmith and became my teacher for grades 7 and 8. We then taught together for several years and formed a very close friendship. Even after retirement, we continued to celebrate birthdays, have theatre outings, play cards, and enjoy dining dates with friends. So many happy memories come to mind.
We are going to miss Barb so very much!

Mrs Alexander was one of my favourite teachers, in grade three. She fostered my love of reading, encouraged me, and gifted me with a copy of “the Secret Garden” at the end of the year. I gifted her with a poorly quilted pillow which she treasured. She will be missed.

Mrs Alexander was an amazing teacher and a lovely person that had a lasting impact on me. My sincere condolences on your loss.

She was the best! Her choice to be a teacher was truly from her heart and it was evident with how it impacted her students! So honoured to have had her as my grade 3 teacher!! ?

Barb (Mrs. Alexander) was a wonderful grade 3 teacher, and I remember being especially pleased to be in her class because she was also my Aunt Marjorie&&single&&s good friend. She always enjoyed catching up when we would encounter one another from time to time in the almost 40 years since then. I last saw her in August at Aunt Marjorie&&single&&s funeral. Thank you for a life well lived, Barb. May your family be filled with peace and love as they say goodbye.

Mrs. Alexander was an amazing teacher and a wonderful person. When I was in her grade 3 class, she was always interested in what I was doing outside of school. As I grew up, she continued to be interested in my family and my life. I very much enjoyed catching up with her a couple of summers ago. My sincere condolences to her family and friends.

Sad to hear of Barb&&single&&s failing health and passing. I got to know Barb through my sister Barb Pullman, and she was so kind to my Mom with visits and cards, while Mom was at the nursing home. My thoughts are with Barb&&single&&s family and friends at this sad time.

To Randy,David and all the Nicholsons my sincerest sympathy to you all. Barb was a delightful member of the Egmondville and “greater” Seaforth area, a loved teacher, neighbor, and friend. I am sorry to hear of your loss.

We moved beside Barb in the 1980s and since that time, Barb has been a wonderful friend and neighbor. We truly miss her.

To go on in life and reach your potential, you need seeds planted at just the right times. I was blessed to have many people culture my confidence, be patient and await my maturity, to see in me what I hadn&&single&&t yet in myself. My early years had many such individuals, and I&&single&&m glad that Barb was one of them. She was such an encouraging, kind and warm person. I delighted in the fact that we shared a birthdate- I imagine that she connected with most in some small way, I&&single&&m certain. I don&&single&&t recall many lessons from Grade 3 specifically, but I was left with the knowledge that I have known one of Earth&&single&&s finest humans.

There are some people in this world who can spread warmth, love and true goodness to others. Barb was one of those people and what she shared will live on for a long time in all those that she touched. I taught for a long time with Barb and often side by side. She always desired to give her students the best experiences and chances at gaining new knowledge and methods of learning. Her kindness to her students and to others, her complete caring about each individual was noted. Although we hadn&&single&&t seen a lot of each other the past few years, Barb was always there in my thoughts as someone I would always treasure and remember. My blessings go to Barb&&single&&s family and friends who are now left with treasured memories of Barb.

Sorry to hear of Barb&&single&&s passing. She was always encouraging to both students and co-workers. May happy memories help you through this difficult time.

We are very saddened to hear of Barb&&single&&s passing. Our Front Street neighbour for 38 years, Barb was a lovely, friendly lady. Although our kids were not fortunate enough to have Mrs. Alexander as their teacher at Huron Centennial, over the years Barb would kindly ask where Carly and Reegan were and what they were doing. What can I add about Barb after reading such wonderful tributes. Everyone describes her so well. She always was so humble, kind and such a genuine personality of caring. Our oldest son felt this “caring” in Grade 3 and loved his teacher. How fortunate we all were to have had her as a teacher and friend.

My condolence to son Randy and Jane, son David. and family. Barb was such a warm caring wonderful person. she will be missed.
