Please accept my deepest condolences in your loss of beautiful Marg. She was always kind, compassionate and an outstanding teacher. In my first year of teaching in 1972, I worked with Marg at Huron Centennial PS in Brucefield two days a week where she had 72 Kindergarten students in two classes. Each class had 36 students who came to school for the full day, every other day and I learned more from Marg about teaching, pedagogy and classroom management than I had from anyone else. She had a wonderful sense of humor and we had so much fun every day.
May the wonderful memories you have of Marg comfort you and rest in peace dear Marg.

Our most sincere condolences to all who knew and loved ‘Mrs. Baker’. Marg was a Carmel Presbyterian Lady, one of those serving our wedding dinner and a constant in my younger life.
She earned our utmost respect, however, by teaching Craig to read; by setting aside “Whole Language Concept’ and using ‘Phonics’. Neurologists said that he would never read, post ABI/TBI. He did.
I later told Mrs. Baker that Craig sat around the conference room table, at the Hill Brain Injury Program Office each month for 2 years, ‘pie chart’ in hand, reading his goals and achievements, never hesitating at any ‘big medical’ word. She inspired that confidence and knowledge… and he was only one student. It is mind-boggling to think of the all of the differences Marg Baker made…in her school and community and home. “Well done , good and faithful servant” comes to mind. Big hugs to Tammy, Rob, Terry and families. Wishing you Peace.
My sincere condolences to Tammy, Rob, Terry, and their families. Marg was a tremendous help to me, back in the day. She was always there for my mom, too. Her and Bill are together, again. God bless them both.
Our deepest sympathies to Marg’s families. Cherish your memories to help you through the days ahead!

Baker Family,
We are very sorry for your family’s loss. Thinking of you all during this sad time, hold on to the beautiful memories made.
My sincere condolences to Marg’s family. We just seemed to be in great company with several ladies that we both knew from the golf course, Deb’s pool in Exeter, and then we enjoyed our monthly get together for a coffee and this ended up with many lunches. Thus we became known as the ‘Senior Mermaids’. Thanks for the memories!
I’m so sorry to hear of “Mrs. Baker’s” passing. She was one of my children’s favourite teachers and she was the first classroom I ever volunteered in. Her kindness, empathy for those little ones and her sense of humour stayed with me and I went on to work for the school board for many years. She made such a lasting impression on so many people -she will be missed!
